So I won't be of much use online. However, might I direct your attention to one of the best perspectives I've read on the Parable of the Prodigal Son? This Church of Ireland priest calls it the "Parable of the Absent Mother." I do think it was the best blog entry I've come across this weekend. I love new insights into Scripture!!!
