Anyway, thanks for my family, too. The relationship I've had with all of them has changed so drastically over the last few years. I look forward to spending time with them and relish the time we do get together. So thanks for them as well.
The above picture was taken about three hours after everyone else had left. The four other cars in the lot belonged to the cleaning staff. I took this photo from my boss's office when the cleaning staff told me the parking lot was all the proof I needed that I shouldn't still be sitting at my computer screen. I snapped the shot and laughed because ya know what? I love my job enough that I WANT to stay late. I WANT to give everything I've got because there, I know for a fact I'm useful. I know for a fact I'm doing something that makes a difference. I'm doing something that helps other people and will make a brighter future for someone, somewhere.
So no matter how terrible my days are - no matter how overwhelmed I am with the responsibilities that are handed over - I have that. And to boot, I've simply got the most amazing set of coworkers ever.
So yeah, God... thanks for them, too. You set me up with an incredible job with some of your best people. Thank you so much. :)
So for these, and all other blessings, I give my most gracious thanks. You are amazing. I cannot possibly imagine a happier point in my life. Thank you. :)
