With all the stuff you've been posting re: divorce, I thought you might find this of interest.

As you may or may not remember, I have two boys, one of which is old enough to remember the before and suffer from the after.  

My ex constantly tries to minimize the effects of the divorce for Vince, so I've taken to video-taping the unseen battles Vincent wages as a result of something that he had no control over.  

Try not to think I'm being heartless or unfeeling, BTW.  Hearing myself, my intonation is very methodical, and I think that's my response to desperately trying to keep my own feelings in check.  I never want to color Vince's emotions, so I try very, very hard to keep my personal feelings hidden away.  What comes out has me sounding like a heartless robot, I fear.
