I'm so excited to announce a Lenten Giveaway from My Broken Fiat! These prizes were chosen specifically because they're geared towards Lent and the Lenten journey.
The giveaway will extend a little longer this time specifically because there are so many prizes. The content opens today, Ash Wednesday, and will extend through until Laetare Sunday (4th Sunday of Lent). Since Rafflecopter was so splendid last time, I decided to go the same route again for the various items. The sixteen (16!) items are:

Sorry, I didn't read all the entry rules for getting an entry. I was too excited to comment before I looked at the rafflecopter stuff.

I'm giving up sleeping in late and procrastinating on tasks. Both things I struggle with.

I'm adding saying the rosary once a day. Unfortunately, I've already forgotten!

I'd love to give many of these away myself as gifts! Except the doll - that one would be staying here!

Oh, and for Lent...I am giving up the time it takes to pray the rosary. I usually pray the rosary while doing dishes, folding laundry, getting dressed, etc. For Lent, I am devoting time each day to pray the rosary while not doing anything else at the same time. Just sitting and praying. And maybe nursing the baby. :-)

I'd love to join the giveaway, but is it open to Philippine residents? :)

As a family we gave up take-out and dining out for Lent. With our children we are doing a Jesus tree with daily readings from one of our children's picture bibles along with a decade of the rosary a day. I am also trying to get to two to three daily Masses a week. So far, so good!

I am adding in praying a daily Rosary and practicing lectio divina regularly. As a family we are cutting back on TV time and spending more time together doing non-screen activities. :)

I'm giving up websites I waste a lot of time on (and most of them don't really have any value besides being funny). It's helped with my schoolwork, too.

I don't really "do" the giving up a physical thing... I always fail and then spend time worrying about it. I find it more meaningful to me to focus on my prayer life and spending more time reading and reflecting.

Gina, I gave up FB for Lent, non saint movies and non saint books. I would love that Jesus & Mary doll (and Vincent, too since I have no little boys) I'll try to tweet this if I can remember my password.
