Do you realize how offensive this video is? I'm surprised to find it on your site considering it's dedicated to all things Catholic. There is so much occult and homosexual activity shown that I couldn't bother watching the rest. You should have listed a warning.

My apologies if you were offended. I'll be honest. I never really gave much thought to the video because I'm not the biggest fan of it. I do, however, like the song. I think it speaks very much of the struggle we face with regret, loss and desperation.

I always took the masked people to be the "ghouls" she mentions in the 1st stanza. These ghosts of her past that gather to torment her as she wallowed in self-pity end up taunting her with a game of Marco-Polo, much in the way that some of our memories taunt us into wallowing further with "What If's" and "Could've, Should've, Would've."

In the end, she's left broken because she lets herself fall victim to these very real, very powerful human emotions. You are right - now that I took a closer look at the video, I can see where one would become a bit agitated by the occult imagery. You do have my apologies. I'll edit the entry with a disclaimer for the content. Thanks for the feedback.

(hug) Aw, Gina. Here's an idea; turn it around on them! Think of it as a granted opportunity to recognize specific people who need praying for! They are delivering themselves into your hands through your own pain, and telling you exactly what sins need to be purged through a request for heavenly intercession, and if they receive in return a loving gift from you, who knows where it will lead? :)

The Evil One is on the move, seeking to widen your wounds through your offering of self. That's what he does. Use it against him! Let every curse thrown your way rebound as a laughing, delighted, conspiratorial prayer for those who have, in attacking you, opened *themselves* for counterblessing...

Thanks, Dom. You're 120% right. Though I have to admit that Lauren's "mess with their minds" point is also rather spot on the money. Ha ha.
